A balance of wins and fails
The staff here is remarkably friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes it great for budget travelers. I particularly enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant and the easy access to route 458.
The outdoor lighting was a bit bright at night, making it difficult to sleep soundly. Ideally, blackout curtains would be a valuable addition.

The staff was very friendly and the
food at the restaurant was phenomenal. However, the shower was quite small, and I could hear neighbors talking through the wall. Overall, I felt safe as a solo traveler, and the ambiance was warm and inviting.

Deer Valley Trails offered a lovely escape with beautiful views of the Adirondack forest. The staff impressed me with their warmth and attentiveness, while the meals at the restaurant delighted my taste buds. A small downside was the bright outdoor light making it hard for a restful sleep.

Quiet place with helpful staff. could use better curtains to block light.

The location nestled next to the river offers a peaceful retreat, perfect for unwinding in nature. The cozy accommodations provide beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, making mornings enjoyable.
Not having any Wi-Fi was a real pain, especially when it felt like we were cut off from the outside world. The outdoor light outside the cabin could have been toned down—it really interfered with sleep without any decent curtains to block it. Also, the absence of a refrigerator was a bit of a letdown. it would have been nice to store some snacks or drinks for our stay rather than having to plan our meals around it.

Had an awesome time with friends! We relaxed by the river and played billiards at the inn. The restaurant served amazing meals, and the staff were super friendly. The location was perfect for soaking up nature and enjoying some outdoor activities.
The only downside was the bright outdoor light that made it hard to sleep at night, and it would’ve been nice to have curtains to block it out.

A hidden gem!
Spent one night here and wow, what a surprise! The queen room was super clean and spacious. The mattress felt like sleeping on a cloud. Enjoyed a solid meal at the restaurant, the staff were really nice too! One thing, the lights outside were kinda bright at night, made it hard to really chill out.

Couples seeking a quiet getaway
The staff was really friendly and helped us find some local attractions. I also liked that the check-in process was quick, no fuss or hassle at all, just as I like it.
It wasn't cheap but acceptable considering the overall experience.

We had a fantastic time relaxing by the beautiful trails, which gave us a great chance to bond as a family and catch up with colleagues. The food was excellent, and the peaceful, wooded surroundings made every moment feel like a true escape into nature.
In my wife’s opinion, an additional window covering would have helped block out the bright automatic light outside our room.
